Responsibilities
Remove and install the interior, including carpeting, padding, plastic panels, trim, and fabric accessories using hand tools according to Freedom Motors procedures under minimal supervision.
Assemble and install automotive seats.
Perform troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
Modify plastic panels as needed; connect and reinstall.
Operate and troubleshoot interior and electrical systems.
Use hand tools including, but not limited to, impact drivers, hand drills, band saws, etc.
Assist other areas as needed.
Qualifications
Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
Labor experience with carpentry and finishing experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use a tape measure and read and interpret blueprints.
Demonstrated initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and high self-motivation.
Ability to use hand tools including, but not limited to, grinders, body saws, impact drivers, hand drills, etc.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and pride in craftsmanship.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
