
Automotive Interiors Technician Location: Battle Creek-MI Full / Part Time

What you'll do:
Remove and install the interior, including carpeting, padding, plastic panels, trim, fabric accessories, etc. using hand tools according to Freedom Motors procedures under minimal supervision.
Assemble and install automotive seats.
Perform troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
Modify plastic panels as needed. Connect and reinstall.
Operate and troubleshoot interior/electrical systems.
Use hand tools including, but not limited to, impact drivers, hand drills, band saws, etc.
Assist other areas as needed.
What you’ll need:
Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
Labor experience with carpentry, finishing experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use a tape measure and read and interpret blueprints.
Demonstrated initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and high self-motivation.
Ability to use hand-tools including, but not limited to, grinder, body saw, impact drivers, hand drills, etc.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, trouble-shooting skills, and pride in craftsmanship.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Outstanding attendance record and reliability.
