CT Tech
– Night Shift (5 days, 8‑hour shifts). Long Beach, CA. Agency: Mindlance Health. Pay: $3,059 per week. Contract length: 13 weeks. Start date: 5/11/2026.
Responsibilities
Operate two Canon CT scanners (64‑slice and 320‑slice) in a fast‑paced, high‑volume department.
Prepare and administer contrast media for a variety of studies (abdomen, enterography, CT angiography, etc.).
Ensure proper patient positioning, peripheral IV placement, and venipuncture.
Assist technologists with scan acquisitions, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
Maintain radiation safety standards and dosimetry controls.
Perform 3‑D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and volume rendering for image post‑processing.
Assist with emergent procedures such as brain perfusion, vascular CT, and trauma scans.
Support interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient flow.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
ARB, R, BLS, and Venipuncture License.
Completion of CT Technician Examination.
Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
Experience with adult acute care, ICU, pediatric acute care, and trauma services.
Ability to perform 3‑D rendering, multplanar reconstruction, and other CT post‑processing techniques.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures.
Contract Details
Nights – 5 days per week, 8‑hour shifts (22:30–07:00). Weekend coverage as needed.
Start date: 5/11/2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Applicants must have CA license in hand and present reverse time order (RTO) within 5 days of submitting application.
