What You'll Be Doing
Review plans, specs, and bid documents to fully understand project scope
Build detailed estimates across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
Identify gaps, conflicts, and opportunities before they become problems
Work with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to build competitive bids
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when needed
Submit accurate, complete bids on time, every time
Look for ways to save costs and improve efficiency without cutting corners

Problem-solving is part of the job (plans are rarely perfect)
Your work directly impacts whether projects are won or lost
What You Bring
2+ years of electrical construction experience
2+ years of estimating experience
(commercial/industrial preferred)
Strong understanding of
electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
Experience with
estimating software
(Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret
blueprints and technical documents
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids at once
Solid communication skills - you can work across teams without things getting lost
A valid driver's license and willingness to drive to job sites as needed
