Long Field House## Pay Grade:Professional## Job Description:**College of Human Sciences & Education****School of Social Work****Field Education Coordinator 4**This position coordinates all aspects of field education placements for students with special focus to the online program. The field placement process is complex due to the assessment of the student, agency, supervisor credentials, compliance with CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) requirements and risk management issues to ensure safety and compliance to ensure the integrity of the educational requirements are met in an external environment**Job Responsibilities****45%**- Manages complex field placements of MSW and/or BSW students in the Social Works program to ensure CSWE compliance while maintaining a high volume student load; independently process all MOU and contracts with online students; monitor and maintain all required field trainings for online field students; meet online with field students to answer questions about program**45%**- Autonomously approve online field placement sites; provide independent judgement in assessing risk and interpreting social work regulation for supervisors; interpret state social work regulatory laws in placements out of LA to ensure ethical standards and risk management policies; ensure compliance of all CSWE standards for Generalist and Specialized course content for field education; Independently assess state licensure rules**10%**- Other duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications**Master's degree in social work.Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 3 years of post-MSW experience.## Additional Job Description:## Special Instructions:Must provide a resume, cover letter, and 3 professional references.
