Job Description
Pharmacy Technician
positions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist assist with medication preparation, distribution, inventory maintenance, record keeping, and IV sterile compounding. Technicians ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards while following the directions and guidelines of a licensed pharmacist.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
Maintain drug inventory and update records.
Perform IV sterile compounding under pharmacist direction.
Ensure compliance with sterile compounding regulatory requirements.
Support pharmacy operations and maintain pharmacy workflow.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Experience with pharmacy automation and reporting features.
Current Nevada Pharmacy Technician license and certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association.
IV sterile compounding certification.
