What Do Our Termite Technicians Do?
Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customer properties from wood‑destroying organisms. They are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers’ properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services they provide bring peace of mind and comfort to our customers.
Responsibilities
Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behavior
Perform termite treatment services safely and in accordance with company guidelines
Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Communicate critical conditions to customers, discuss procedures and necessary modifications
Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
Complete production forms documenting services provided
Interact with customers and explain services offered
Essential Job Functions
Thrive in various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
Prepare job sites for treatment
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb and work on roofs
Work comfortably 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
General laborer experience (carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, attic) preferred
Ability to work on roofs and high areas
Perform repetitive physical tasks: lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles
Wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator; must be comfortable in confined spaces, narrow aisles, passageways
Qualifications
Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal properly)
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
At least 1 year of customer service; termite control experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Flexible working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed
Required licenses/certificates per federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; ability to follow product label instructions
Pay Range
Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00
