What do our Termite Technicians do?
Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, they provide inspections, prevention, and treatment services that create peace of mind for our customers.
Responsibilities
Identify customer’s termite problems and use knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
Communicate critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications that may supplement the treatment process.
Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
Complete production forms documenting services provided.
Interact with customers and explain services provided.
Essential Job Functions
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
Prepare the job site for treatment.
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
Work comfortably 20 feet up a ladder and in small confined spaces.
General labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus.
Ability to work on roofs and high areas.
Move frequently – sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
What do you need?
Clean shaven face (required for rebreather use).
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
Basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
Construction, handman, and insulation installation experienced candidates encouraged to apply!
