
Network Deploy Technician

Job Duties
Troubleshoot wireless access points and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes.
Work closely with our Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products.
Apply TCP/IP networking knowledge.
Apply broad understanding of infrastructure technologies.
Apply knowledge of network cabling and standard optic types.
Travel within the PDX region will be required to various DC buildings.
Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
Qualifications
2–3+ years as a data center technician.
Strong understanding of network principles and the OSI model.
Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, particularly GPU-based systems.
Fiber optics/copper troubleshooting and experience working with cut sheets.
Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1–3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands‑on hardware experience, especially with home labs or GPU architecture.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to commute to Boardman, Umatilla, and Hermiston, OR.
