
Warranty Repair Technician

## Description**Position Summary:**
The primary responsibility of the Warranty Repair Technician is to repair or fix any issues that may be reported by an owner or dealer.**Responsibilities/Duties:*** Fair and Finish repairs for final gel coat application and match new finish to existing gel coat.* Spray gel coat, wet sand and buff to match new finish.* Spray nonskid gel coat.* Repair stringers and bulkheads.* Able to de-rig the electrical and hydraulic systems in the console as well as throughout the vessel.* Ability to troubleshoot and replace basic 12-volt electrical items, such as lights, horns, switches, batteries, chargers etc.* Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy and hazardous material guidelines.* Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.* Other duties as assigned.**Education and/or Experience:** High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training.
* Active driver’s license in good standing.* Ability to travel occasionally based on business need.**Language Skills:** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
**Mathematical Skills:** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
**Reasoning Ability:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
