This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, have an interest in climbing and outdoor recreation, and are eager to learn.**Responsibilities:**Provide excellent customer service at the climbing wall and rental desk; assist with daily operations, including gear check-out and returns; support climbers and learn proper belay techniques; help maintain and organize outdoor equipment; and move and handle equipment such as canoes, kayaks, and other gear.**Qualifications:**Strong customer service skills; knowledge of climbing (or willingness to learn, including belaying); outdoor equipment knowledge (or willingness to learn); and ability to lift and move equipment (canoes, kayaks, etc.) required.**Schedule & Pay:*** This position will start on May 18th and end on August 21, 2026.* Flexible scheduling, primarily Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM* $13.00/hour for regular shifts* $17.50/hour for special eventsJoin UNI Outdoors and help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for the campus community!**Application Instructions:**All application materials received by April 27, 2026, will be given full consideration.
