2026 Fall - Climbing Wall Attendant
Winthrop Position Title - 2026 Fall - Climbing Wall Attendant
Job Purpose - To serve as the representative for Recreational Services in the day-to-day operations and management of the West Center climbing wall.
Duties and Responsibilities -
Responsible for opening and closing the climbing wall, completing safety inspections on a daily basis
Assist patrons with needs regarding the wall, its equipment and any potential programs
Approach opportunities to provide quality customer service with the utmost care
Enforce all policies and procedures for effective operations of the climbing wall
Be knowledgeable of, and enforce, any related risk management procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Belay certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable time upon employment).
Preferred Skills - Effective communication skills. Awareness of safety concerns and risk management procedures.
Pay Rate - 10.00/hr
Type of Position - Regular Hourly
Position Level - Graduate or Undergraduate
Hours Per Week - 8-10
