Winthrop Position Title Student Services Graduate Assistant-Fall 2026
Job Purpose
Contributes to the quality of a students learning experience and academic success by being an important resource for students, faculty, and guests on the College of Business (CBA) undergraduate curriculum.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with administrative tasks for CBA Student Services
Maintain and update student records
Conduct and analyze research regarding undergraduate population
Understand, prepare and discuss CBA degree requirements
Promote and participate in events/ activities
Inform students of changes to undergraduate curriculum
Participate in student orientation and registration process
Qualifications
Good academic standing
Full time student enrolled in a graduate program
Demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to work on multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
Conduct oneself in a highly professional and ethical manner
Sensitive to issues of diversity and disability
Clear commitment to helping students succeed in their academic endeavors
Preferred Skills
Demonstrates initiative and a high level of self motivation is highly preferred
Undergraduate degree in business administration, preferably from Winthrop
Posses a working knowledge of SPSS
Experience working independently and as a team is highly preferred
MBA student is highly preferred
