Langston Security & Integration began in January 2008. We are a family‑owned, mid‑size low‑voltage security and audiovisual systems company located in Peoria, Arizona. We provide installation, maintenance, and support for commercial, residential, and luxury multi‑family properties across Arizona and beyond.
Role and Responsibilities
Install low‑voltage security systems primarily in commercial, construction, and some residential environments
Troubleshoot and test networking issues
Assist with programming various systems directed by the company
Set up support structures (e.g., ladders, racks)
Terminate and install end devices such as badge readers, magnetic locks, motion detectors, glass breaks, cameras, focusing lenses, etc.
Install and service burglar alarm systems directed by the company
Install and service CCTV systems directed by the company
Install and service access control systems, including door hardware directed by the company
Install and service audio/visual systems directed by the company
Pull cables, wires, and perform necessary preparation work to complete jobs
Adaptable and trainable on various security systems, manufacturer specifications, etc.
Document job notes according to the company’s work order policy, meeting or exceeding expectations and standards
Maintain thorough documentation while adhering to company confidentiality policies and standards
Maintain positive attendance in accordance with scheduled jobs
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful customer service
Have general knowledge of electronics, components, and devices
Comply with and follow all safety standards, laws, and regulations at all times
Take initiative by communicating with operations and management
Memorize and commit to the company mission, values, and vision
Work the on‑call rotation as needed
Work in various temperatures and working conditions
Perform other assigned duties as required
Skills, Qualifications, and Work Conditions
2–5 years experience in security, access control, and CCTV installation and troubleshooting preferred; commercial project experience preferred
Must be able to pass a background and driver’s license (MVR) check
Must obtain and keep current Arizona Alarm Agent License and any required licenses required by law; willing to apply within first 30 days if not currently held
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Professional appearance and presentation, abiding all PPE standards and company uniform policy
Effective team member with strong productivity skills while assisting teammates
May be required to work overtime without advance notice and must be able to work a flexible schedule
Good organizational skills
Maintain company property in good working order while ensuring safety and security of the property
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Frequent lifting or carrying up to 65 pounds and pushing up to 100 pounds
Will be exposed to inclement weather or work in environments requiring protective equipment
Must maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods, including long driving periods
Provide own basic hand tools per company standards
Follow all PPE requirements per job location; safety is the number one priority

Certifications with manufacturers in the security industry is a plus

Work Hours
Full‑time position. Hours vary depending on scheduled work. Generally Monday through Friday; some weekends may be required but not typical. No restrictions and flexibility to be scheduled to work.
Pay, Benefits & Perks
Hourly position; rate based on experience. Starting at $29.00 per hour, maxing out at $38.00 per hour with qualified, high‑level skills
Bi‑weekly direct deposit every other Friday
