Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in bakery and food production, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Pay Range:
$31 - $37.63 an hour (based on qualifications and experience)
Shift:
1st shift: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
Maintain and support manufacturing equipment within production areas to ensure smooth operations
Install, align, and adjust mechanical power transmission components such as gearboxes, bearings, chains, shafts, and gears
Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including power transmission systems, to minimize downtime
Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unplanned outages
Support compliance with Quality Management Systems such as SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards
What's Needed?
Minimum of 3+ years of industrial mechanical experience or a two‑year technical degree (preferred)
Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish skills are a plus
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, mechanical repair, HVAC systems, and general maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and repair power transmission, gear alignment, and perform preventive maintenance
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
