The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level, strategic administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of MSGE and Sphere, serving as a trusted partner in managing day-to-day operations and enabling focus on key business priorities. This role requires handling highly confidential communications, preparing research and executive materials, and acting as a liaison on behalf of the CLO with professionalism and sound judgment. The Executive Assistant will develop a deep understanding of the executive’s working style, priorities, and preferences to proactively manage complex calendars, streamline workflows, and anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Administrative Assistant independently executes delegated responsibilities with minimal direction, resolves issues efficiently, and ensures seamless administrative operations, consistently demonstrating exceptional discretion, reliability, attention to detail, and the highest standards of professionalism and performance.
What will you do?
Manage calendars, schedules, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinate related arrangements across internal departments.
Prepare the CLO for each meeting – drafting agendas and printing materials in advance.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and personal projects; help locate and obtain information & resources; anticipate and prepare materials as needed.
Manage highly confidential, proprietary information with discretion.
Work under tight deadlines, remain aware of shifting priorities, anticipate last‑minute changes, and make necessary adjustments; always having a plan B in place.
Stay current on internal and external information that may aid the CLO’s efficiency and proactivity, utilizing data to support shifting priorities.
Create strong relationships within and across departments, especially with other Executive Assistants and Senior Administrative Assistants.
Act as liaison between the Executive, direct reports, and internal/external contacts.
Coordinate activities and deliverables with direct reports and other stakeholders.
Prepare and submit the CLO’s monthly expense report and provide administrative support for approvals of monthly expenses and various transactions for the CLO’s direct reports.
Assist the department with special projects as requested; collaborate with other executive assistants to provide service as needed.
What do you need to succeed?
5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably at the c‑suite level and/or within a legal function.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, with expert calendar management skills.
Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
Ability to distill information and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
Ability to strategically connect dots among simultaneous projects, deadlines, commitments, and initiatives.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities while maintaining calm presence and perseverance.
Expert multitasker who stays organized and detail‑oriented.
Exudes energy, positivity, proactiveness, resiliency, and resourcefulness.
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Schedule flexibility and accessibility to respond as needed, including nights and weekends.
Must be flexible to work overtime on short notice.
Pay Range:
$95,000 — $150,000 USD
