
Concrete Finisher/carpenter

We are currently seeking experienced concrete finishers/carpenters to join our team and provide our clients with the highest quality concrete.
We are looking to hire immediately.
The Role
The ideal candidate is a hardworking, detail oriented, and driven individual with at least 3 years of concrete finishing and forming experience. This individual takes pride in their work and is always looking for ways to learn and improve their skills.
This position requires a thorough understanding of concrete materials and finishing techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other crew members and supervisors.
At least three to five years of finishing experience is required for the finishing role. Years of experience with the carpentry role is flexible as long as you can prove your skills. Experience with foundations, especially the Camlock and Symons forming system, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Concrete finishing:
Candidates are responsible for achieving a variety of concrete finishes including broom finish, exposed aggregate, smooth, and burned finishes. Must be willing to provide the best finished concrete you can.
Forming slabs and foundations:
Candidate will be responsible for setting/stripping forms for both slabs and foundations. This includes loading/unloading materials, setting, pouring, and stripping forms.
Tie rebar:
Candidates will be responsible for placing and tying rebar.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment:
Candidates are responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of finishing experience for the finisher role and at least 1-2 years of concrete forming experience for the carpenter role. Foundation experience is highly desired, especially with the Camlock and Symons form system.
Skillset:
Must be proficient with power tools and concrete finishing tools.
Mindset:
Must have a positive mindset and attitude. Must be willing to take responsibility.
Independence:
Be able to follow instruction, manage tasks and be efficient without constant supervision. Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to be able to get yourself to and from jobs.
Compensation and benefits
Pay range:
Qualified experienced finishers start at $28-$38/hr. DOE, with pay increases according to the amount of responsibility taken and skills proven.
Paid Holidays:
Most major federal holidays are paid.
PTO:
Paid time off up to 1 week per year (starting after 90-day probationary period)
