Key Responsibilities
Execute month‑end close activities, including accruals, provisions, and inter‑company invoicing.
Perform rigorous balance sheet reconciliations and audit daily transactions.
Conduct deep‑dive P&L and variance analysis; identify discrepancies between Standard and Actual costs to drive plant efficiency.
Manage reporting for scrap, rework, and Slow‑Moving/Obsolete (SLOB) inventory to protect the bottom line.
Administer pricing for new product launches, manage OEM and Aftermarket price lists, and audit annual customer discount adjustments based on performance matrices.
Design and distribute weekly sales and production reports for internal stakeholders and management.
Financial Operations & Reporting
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to provide visibility into plant performance.
Execute month‑end tasks including accruals, provisions, and inter‑company invoicing.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and audit transactions within BPCS and D365 ERPs.
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with data‑driven inputs for plant overhead.
Prepare ad‑hoc financial models for the Plant Controller to support strategic decisions.
Cost Accounting & Plant Analysis
Conduct P&L cost analysis, focusing on Standard vs. Actual variance to find inefficiencies.
Monitor inventory health, tracking scrap, rework, and Slow‑Moving/Obsolete (SLOB) stock.
Partner with Operations to enhance internal controls and process flows within the facility.
Analyze production metrics to drive cost‑saving initiatives and improve labor efficiency.
Commercial Pricing & Revenue Management
Execute pricing entry for new products, ensuring alignment with margin thresholds.
Administer customer discount structures and rebates per the corporate Performance Matrix.
Generate specific pricing sheets for OEM and Aftermarket channels during pricing season.
Conduct readiness checks for new units to verify cost and price accuracy before release.
Audit discount adjustments to ensure performance‑based incentives are accurately applied.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
5+ years of finance or accounting experience, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query); familiarity with D365 or BPCS is a significant advantage.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights for the operations team.
