As part of the Office of Experience Transformation, the Guest Services Liaison is an integral part of the Guest Services team, responsible for supporting patients and visitors at UC San Diego Health by providing a warm, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients, visitors and guests upon arrival

Assist with wheelchair mobilization

Provide wayfinding support

Connect patients and guests with hospital resources

Deliver support items to patient rooms

Address questions or concerns in lobby and arrival areas

Use electronic medical records to support patient and guest needs

Assist surgical patients and their families with communication

Collaborate effectively with UC San Diego Health staff

The shift for this position is 11:30am - 8:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of public-facing experience in healthcare, hospitality, or a service-oriented role.

BLS/CPR at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish/English.

Special Conditions

Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency
Annual Full Pay Range: $57,399 - $71,347 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%).

Hourly Equivalent: $27.49 - $34.17
