
Construction Project Scheduler

Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Project Scheduler to own and manage the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule for a large-scale high‑rise mixed‑use construction project. This role will be hands‑on in the field and in scheduling systems - driving weekly updates, coordinating directly with superintendents/foremen, and maintaining accurate progress tracking across an estimated ~8,500 activities in the master schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage a full‑time CPM schedule for a complex high‑rise construction project
Perform weekly schedule updates, incorporating field progress and subcontractor input to maintain an accurate critical path
Conduct weekly on‑site walkdowns and coordination meetings with foremen/superintendents to collect update data and validate installed work
Track progress through hands‑on field verification, including marked‑up drawings and documentation of completed/ongoing activities
Produce clear weekly reporting (look‑ahead, progress status, variance explanations, recovery actions) for project leadership
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to verify sequencing, constraints, and construction logic.
Use Bluebeam as the primary platform for accessing drawings and supporting field markups/coordination.
Skills and Requirements
OSHA 30 Certification
4–7 years of construction project scheduling experience (CPM‑focused)
Experience supporting residential or commercial high‑rise projects
Proven experience managing large‑scale schedules
Ability to perform weekly field walkdowns and gather schedule updates directly from foremen/supervision.
Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics and translate scope into sequencing and schedule logic - Experience supporting residential or commercial high‑rise projects (mixed‑use strongly preferred)
PMP Certification
