ECIA is seeking a dedicated and versatile
Maintenance Technician
to join our team. This role is essential to the upkeep of our diverse housing portfolio, including single-family homes, duplexes, and apartment rentals. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in the

Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance:
Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and thorough unit turnovers/cleaning.
Systems Oversight:
Troubleshoot and provide routine repairs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Specialized Labor:
Execute carpentry projects and professional-grade painting as required.
Groundskeeping:
Manage seasonal needs, including lawn care and snow removal as needed.
Emergency Response:
Provide timely assistance for emergency maintenance requests and property inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of two years in construction, HVAC, property management, or a related maintenance field.
Education:
High School diploma required. A trade school certificate or degree in a related field (HVAC, carpentry, construction) is preferred.
Licensure:
Preference may be given to candidates with professional licensure in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or hydronics.
Digital Literacy:
Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and procedural management.
Physical & Operational Requirements
Ability to lift
75 lbs.
(e.g., appliances, furniture).
Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under ECIA’s policies.
Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with coworkers, clients, and the public.
