Description
The Human Resource Representative will administer the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Assists with the administration of compensation and benefit plans.
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Schedule, administer, and execute new co-worker orientation and onboarding.
Assist HR Manager and training department with training initiatives, to include, but not limited to scheduling, conducting, coordinating, ensuring compliance with training initiatives.
Provide support to co-workers in various HR-related topics such as leave of absence (LOA) and disability coordination. Work with payroll to accurately compensate our co-workers on LOA.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
Manage annual performance management process under the direction of HR Manager. Ensure compliance amongst management for both quarterly and annual performance.
Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist in gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Maintain co-worker files and records in electronic and paper form.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, advocating for proper use of perks and benefits and assisting in organizing team building activities.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
At least two years of manufacturing industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems (UKG).
High ethical conduct.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
Must work well in team environment

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 based on experience.
