## DescriptionJob Purpose:
- The Recruitment Community Engagement Specialist at the Community Action Agency of Oklahoma is responsible for fostering strong relationships within the community to enhance recruitment efforts. This role aims to create a positive and engaging environment that attracts qualified candidates and supports the agency's mission of serving the community effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote the agency's recruitment initiatives.
- Engage with local organizations, schools, and community groups to build partnerships and networks that support recruitment goals.
- Organize and participate in community events, job fairs, and workshops to increase visibility and attract potential candidates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand staffing needs and align community engagement efforts with recruitment objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement activities and adjust strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community trends and demographics to tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on community engagement activities and their impact on recruitment efforts.## QualificationsRequired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, community engagement, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful community engagement strategies.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competencies.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in using recruitment and community engagement tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with local community resources and networks in Oklahoma.
