
HRIS Analyst

We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team! (position remote or hybrid for Austin candidates)
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing HR systems and producing data-driven insights that support strategic decision making across the organization. The position partners with HR and program owners to also define, design and enhance HR technologies and data reporting. This position is hands‑on and supports all Human Resources functions, including HR, payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, talent management, and learning within the HRIS system and data reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities
HR Analytics:
Maintain and optimize the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, accuracy and security.
Develop, generate, compile and analyze complex data reports and dashboards for HR and Senior Executives across the organization (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, training compliance, compensation trends, etc.).
Partner with HR and business leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
Identify trends and patterns in HR data to support various organization initiatives such as workforce planning and strategic initiatives.
Create and automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and consistency.
Support system upgrades, implementations and enhancements, including testing and documentation.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and internal policies.
Troubleshoot system and reporting issues, providing timely resolution.
Provide training to HR team members and/or key stakeholders on reporting tools and database best practices.
Serve as the lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
HRIS System Administration (SAP & ADP):
Perform administrative functions, including security maintenance, business process configuration, data loads, integrations, and system upgrades.
Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, including system configuration and end‑user training materials.
Troubleshoot system issues, implement/configure resolutions that meet user requirements.
Responsible for identification, assessment and resolution of complex issues or system configurations; test and audit business processes, data integrity and application integration.
Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of system modules and functionality, including modification of business processes and workflow configurations (start to finish).
Conduct system testing and audit business processes, data integrity, and application integrations.
Educate internal teams on new system functionality and lead the development of training and educational materials, including reference guides and job aids.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure):
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or Technology.
3-5 years of experience in HRIS, HR analytics or related role.
Directly related experience may substitute for education.
Experience and knowledge working in SQL and advanced Excel is a requirement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of general HR principles and processes.
Knowledge and experience with HRIS platforms of ADP & SAP.
Demonstrated ability to use SQL for data query & analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
Knowledge and experience with HRIS and system integrations.
Skilled in identifying, analyzing, resolving problems, handling multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
Knowledge of HR metrics, KPIs, and best practices.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Experience designing reports, analyzing data, and developing dashboards.

Salary Range Disclosure: $97,000 - $120,000 annual base salary. The expected starting salary will vary depending on factors such as experience, skills, and demonstrated capabilities. The upper end of the range is reserved for candidates who exceed the role requirements.
