Position Summary
Full Time or Casual Hours
Monthly Weekend Requirements
Experience with cooking/following recipes required
Long Term Care/Healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes.
Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and ensure that all foods meet required serving temperatures.
Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook in a nursing and rehabilitation facility preferred.
Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of quantity cooking.
