Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a small-animal hospital hiring for a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian. The practice treats cats and dogs and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead the clinical team and support the continued delivery of high-quality care. Role Description and Responsibilities This role combines full-scope GP responsibilities with leadership duties. The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical standards while actively participating in patient care, including wellness, preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, and doctor hours are open to discussion. Practice Details The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is equipped with digital radiography, a dental suite, in-house pharmacy, diagnostics, and surgical support systems. Services include wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery. The practice is well-established and provides full-service care to the southern New Mexico community, with a focus on compassion, efficiency, and strong medical standards. Team The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a strong technician and assistant team, ensuring effective support for each doctor.
