Hiring for Tactical Part-Time Security Ambassador
As an off-duty police officer for an aerospace manufacturer, you will take on advanced security responsibilities that go far beyond those of a traditional security guard. Your law enforcement training, authority, and expertise will enable you to manage high-risk situations, enforce policies, and serve as a critical liaison with external agencies.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Site Location: Santa Clarita, CA

Shift 1: Friday - Saturday 05:30AM - 2:00PM and Sunday 1:30Pm -10:00PM (24 hours)

Shift 2: Thursday - Friday 10:00PM - 06:30AM (16 Hours)

Responsibilities

Guard entry and exit points, verify credentials, and manage visitor logs to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility. This is especially critical in manufacturing facilities that handle sensitive components and information

Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

Verify identities and control access to secure areas, ensuring security protocols are followed in restricted areas.

React quickly to threats or incidents

Monitor advanced surveillance cameras and alarm systems in a control center.

Write clear, detailed reports for management and compliance audits, documenting incidents and preventive actions.

Assist with internal investigations related to theft, workplace violence, or breaches of security procedures.

Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Ensure compliance with appearance and dress code policies by wearing the prescribed hard-profile uniform at all times.

Act as the primary contact point between the manufacturer's security team and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Coordinate and cooperate with law enforcement during serious incidents or investigations.

Provide armed response capabilities when situations escalates beyond the scope of unarmed personnel.

Offer security presence during high-profile visits (executives, government officials, VIPs) to ensure protection and orderly access.

Qualifications

Be authorized to work in the U.S.

Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED

Have a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)

Have a CA Exposed Firearm Permit

Have a California CCW

Be at least 21 years of age

Have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record

Have Law Enforcement background

Be able to ace and pass an extensive screening process

First aid certification is an asset

Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Employment is contingent on successful background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
