Job Summary:
As the Bakery Assistant Manager, you'll be an integral part of our grocery store's bakery leadership team. Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure top-notch product quality, and lead a dynamic team. Examples of Duties:
Assist the Bakery Manager in managing daily bakery operations, including production, staffing, and customer service.
Supervise and provide guidance to bakery staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to achieve department goals, such as sales targets and product quality.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe bakery space.
Collaborate with vendors to source quality ingredients and bakery products.
Support the analysis of sales data and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and coordinating with the overall store inventory systems.
Knowledge:
Solid understanding of bakery operations, production processes, and ingredient quality.
Familiarity with industry trends and innovations in baked goods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Proficiency in inventory management and ordering processes.
Leadership principles and effective team management skills.
