Customer Service Representative

Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience through effective communication, accurate order processing, product knowledge, and efficient handling of customer inquiries and returns.
Essential Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming calls
Return customer calls and emails
Provide accurate, timely, and professional information
Maintain a positive, upbeat, and helpful demeanor at all times
Order Processing & Accuracy
Accurately enter customer orders and send acknowledgements when follow-up is required (pricing, discounts, credit, etc.)
Follow established order entry procedures within the operating system
Maintain knowledge of customer pricing and discount structures
Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and familiarity with the product catalog
Utilize proper customer service and order management procedures
Quotes & Sales Support
Prepare and deliver quick quotes for customers and outside sales staff
Transmit completed quotes using approved communication tools
Use Salesforce CRM for order entry, quoting, pricing, and customer inquiries
Systems & Administrative Duties
Enter and maintain accurate data in ERP and CRM systems on a daily basis
Remain at workstation (computer and phone) for 5-6 hours daily to process orders, handle calls, and respond to emails
Issue RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for customer returns by the next business day
Track customer shipments
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a customer service / order processing role
Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with ERP and CRM systems
Strong time management and organizational skills
Professional phone etiquette and demeanor
High attention to detail
Proven track record of increased responsibility in prior roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bilingual (english / spanish) preferred
