Electronics Responsible Product Engineer
where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the‑art avionics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment. This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility.
Key Activities
Lead the development, testing and delivery of an Avionics module responsible for power distribution for a modified Interceptor.
Drive collaboration across adjacent organizations such as Systems Engineering, Test and Integration Engineering, Flight Sciences and Manufacturing.
Develop and maintain close team relationships to foster partnership in all outcomes.
Be responsible for the Module's schedules and be accountable for achieving key milestones.
Present technical status and issue resolution to program leadership and applicable stakeholders.
Maximize collaboration and foster a culture of technical excellence with a laser focus on delivering compliant products on schedule.
Qualifications
Experience with high‑reliability electronics through the product lifecycle.
Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience.
3+ years professional experience.
Active DoD
Secret clearance
and
US Citizenship
required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Experience with high‑reliability electronics through the product lifecycle.
Previous or current Product Engineer or equivalent experience.
Active DoD
Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills
Experience operating through full lifecycle development process with an emphasis on development, test and integration.
Proven ability to effectively manage and complete complex technical problems.
Deep understanding of missile system disciplines, including but not limited to: Power management and Distribution; Missile Integration and Testing; Circuitware / FPGA development; Non‑conformance disposition in a Quality Management system.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
