Fairfield Animal Hospital is seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians for a seasonal summer contract opportunity in Kelowna, British Columbia. This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy emergency medicine and want the flexibility of a short‑term commitment while spending the summer in the heart of the Okanagan Valley.

Ability to practice without a restricted license

Strong ER confidence and ability to work independently

Spend Your Summer in Kelowna. Often called the "Napa Valley of Canada," Kelowna offers an unbeatable summer lifestyle with lakes, beaches, wineries, hiking, paddleboarding, boating, and endless sunshine.

Whether you’re looking for a temporary escape from routine, exploring a new place for the season, or simply want to practice great medicine somewhere people vacation on purpose—this is the opportunity.

Licensing
If you are currently licensed in a U.S. state, we may be able to secure a temporary BC license covering up to 30 shifts per calendar year, which fits this seasonal contract well. Temporary licensing typically takes 2‑3 weeks, and our team will help guide the process.

Send resume to Heather.Kelly@ethosvet.com.
