Responsibilities
The role of the Value Add Group Lead is responsible for managing daily activities within the Value Add / Production department. The Group Lead is responsible for providing the most efficient utilization of warehouse employees, equipment, and resources necessary to achieve the highest potential productivity possible and to provide the greatest level of service and quality to our customers.
Facilitate Tier I start up meetings and communicate expectations, productivity, or other pertinent information.
Assign and adjust employees within the department to meet daily goals and complete hot orders.
Escalate safety, personnel, policy compliance, unsafe acts / condition issues to supervisor in order to address.
Ensure 6S standards, visual aid are in place, and PPE requirements are followed by performing daily audits, providing cleaning assignments, and training of department team members.
Perform daily associate observations and audits on standardized work or production order instructions.
Recommend revisions to standard operating procedures, standardized work, or production instructions as needed.
Accurately capture individual performance information and communicate team performance information required in your area in order to measure safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
Qualifications
Five (5) years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.
Three (3) years’ experience in increased responsibilities.
Strong working knowledge of SAP.
Strong data entry and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform work on your feet for a maximum of nine hours per day.
Able to lift a maximum of 35 lbs.

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
