Participates with the Assistant Secretary for ETA in formulating programs and implementing the Administration's employment and training initiatives.
Advises the Assistant Secretary on major policy and program issues impacting ETA's goals and objectives.
Represents the Assistant Secretary and ETA in high-level meetings with Department of Labor leadership, other federal agencies, state and local officials, and public/private organizations.
Communicates and explains ETA policies, programs, and positions to internal and external stakeholders, including international organizations.
Represents the Assistant Secretary in meetings with Congress, Congressional committees, White House staff, labor organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Serves as a spokesperson for ETA and the Department, interpreting and articulating ETA's policies, goals, and objectives.
