Senior Piping Designer

An immediate opportunity is available for multiple Senior Piping Designers to support a fast-paced industrial plant redevelopment project in Beaumont, TX. The client is executing a design-build model under an aggressive schedule, with construction and design progressing simultaneously. This role is focused on execution and field-ready deliverables rather than front-end conceptual design. Candidates must be able to work independently, take completed P&IDs, and quickly convert them into fabrication and installation drawings with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret completed P&IDs and produce piping isometrics for fabrication and field installation.
Develop spool drawings, BOMs, weld maps, and construction-ready piping deliverables.
Prepare installation drawings, tie-in packages, and general arrangement layouts.
Support concurrent construction activities by prioritizing urgent field deliverables.
Coordinate closely with onsite construction, operations, and engineering teams.
Identify practical routing, support, and constructability solutions in an active plant environment.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience converting P&IDs into piping isometrics with limited oversight.
Strong background in brownfield, retrofit, or live plant piping projects.
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, plastics, or industrial processing facilities.
Strong understanding of piping layout, supports, field fit-up, and constructability. xywuqvp
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving execution environment.
Preferred Software Experience:
AutoCAD Plant 3D
CADWorx
SmartPlant 3D / AVEVA E3D
AutoCAD 2D with strong ISO drafting experience
