CA license required; BLS and 1 year outpatient PT experience preferred. Join our healthcare team providing orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric rehabilitation in beautiful Napa Valley. Job Details Location: Napa, CA 94558 — Napa Valley, California (local travel PT jobs, outpatient hospital setting) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,390 – $1,490 (competitive travel PT pay) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shifts (9:30am–6:00pm; Fridays 8:30am–5:00pm) Shifts per Week: 5 Hours per Week: 40 Setting: Outpatient hospital (occasional float to acute inpatient or affiliate hospitals as needed) Job Requirements Active California Physical Therapist license required at time of submission (CA license) Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist in a comparable outpatient or hospital setting BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong manual therapy skills and orthopedics experience Experience with Epic charting system preferred (Epic experience helpful for outpatient PT roles) Spanish speaking preferred but not required (bilingual PTs encouraged to apply) Willingness to float to affiliate hospitals or acute inpatient side as needed References: Minimum 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Responsibilities Evaluate and treat approximately 11–12 scheduled patients per day across orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric populations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses (post-op TKA, THA, RCR, spinal surgeries, ACL, arthroscopies, nonoperative pain, balance/gait disorders, CVA, Parkinson’s, TBI) Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, assistive device training, and functional mobility interventions Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, discharge planning, and rehabilitation goals Document patient care thoroughly using Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nursing, OT, case managers) to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care Occasionally float to acute inpatient areas or affiliate hospitals based on clinical needs Why join us: This travel PT job offers hands-on outpatient hospital experience in a supportive team environment, exposure to diverse caseloads (orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics), and the opportunity to live in Napa Valley.
