Your Responsibilities

• Performing detailed assessments of patients, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently as permitted
• Informing patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and ongoing disease management
• Prescribing requisite medications and therapies as sanctioned by your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and long-term care management efforts
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Certification Requirements

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
