Grants Manager (Full-Time, Exempt)

CHADS Coalition for Mental Health is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save young lives by advancing the awareness and prevention of depression and suicide.
Job Description

CHADS Grants Manager will work with the leadership team to write and submit funding proposals, grant research, monitor, evaluate and assess grant writing processes in the Development Department. The Grants Manager will report directly to CHADS Chief Development Officer.
Job Responsibilities

Manage the agency's portfolio of organizational funders - including government sources, foundations, and corporations.
Write and submit grant funding proposals to further the mission and goals of the organization.
Maintain organized grant files for audit readiness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private grantor requirements.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate relevant updates to team.
Research prospective funding sources and develop applications/proposals to secure new funding.
Attend community events to develop and cultivate relationships with funders.
Collaborate with CHADS leadership team regarding grant details, new initiatives, projects, and success stories.
Participate in CHADS leadership meetings and provide insight on giving trends in the region.
Communicate grant deadlines and requirements to internal stakeholders.
Oversee CHADS annual grants calendar for applications and progress reports.
Assist in identifying potential strategic partnerships with other area non-profit organizations.
Develop and foster funder relationships.
Track and maintain grant-related documents in agency shared drive.
Additional duties as assigned by the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and/or the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Qualifications

Minimum of bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in grant management/writing
Knowledge and understanding of grant funding cycles, application procedures and compliance requirements
Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and funder expectations simultaneously
A passion for CHADS mission, vision, and values
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
SALARY RANGE: $55,000+ per year

What We Do

CHADS is a 501(c)(3) organization offering Signs of Suicide, Family Support, and Social Emotional Well-being programs to advance the awareness and prevention of depression and suicide. Aside from providing adolescents and young adults ages 25 and under with counseling services and educational programs, we also serve parents, educators, and community members with resources, presentations, and more to provide a holistic and proactive approach to mental illness and bullying.
