Scheduler with Rheumatology Experience
Location: UCF Health Lake Nona
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm No Weekends
Preferred -- Experience in Rheumatology

We're looking for a Scheduler with Rheumatology experience to join our team and support our mission of improving lives through exceptional service.
At UCF Health, our experienced team of Orlando rheumatology doctors provides personalized care, utilizing the latest advancements in medical treatments to help patients achieve a better quality of life.
What You'll Do
Patients Administrative functions
Schedules patient appointments via phone call, online appointment request and reschedules appointments due to template changes.
Registers patient appointments and verifies insurance. Obtains insurance information does not verify insurance.
Refers or triages patients to appropriate nursing staff.
Adheres to HIPAA guidelines/regulations/annual HIPAA training.
Receives communication from patients via the patient portal regarding appointment changes that are needed and to update demographic information.
Schedules patients for testing procedures.
Determines appropriate time/types of appointments and procedures.
Assists with internal referrals to schedule appointment.
Sends documentation to appropriate parties regarding patient care.
What We're Looking For
Education: A high school education or GED
Experience: One to three years of similar or related healthcare experience in Rheumatology
Skills: Sound knowledge of medical terminology and billing, Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
Tech-savvy: Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet computer skills, eCW a plus
Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
