Customer Service Representative

We are looking to fill a long-term temporary Customer Service Representative position at our Development Center in Lebanon, Ohio. The Temporary Customer Service Representative will focus exclusively on order entry and related administrative tasks. This role supports the Customer Service team by ensuring timely and accurate system processing of customer orders.
Primary Responsibilities
Accurately enter and process customer orders in a timely manner
Validate order details including product codes, pricing, quantities, and requested ship dates
Generate and distribute order confirmations to customers using clear, professional, and courteous communication
Maintain accurate and organized order documentation and records
Ensure compliance with established company procedures and system requirements
Additional tasks may include:
Provide support with order status communication to customers and Sales, as directed
Assist with shipment tracking and basic order-related follow-up
Support internal coordination with Planning, Operations, Logistics, and Sales regarding order processing
Assist with urgent or trial orders requiring special handling or expediting
Accurately document customer complaints in Mane's designated system
Participate in production or planning meetings as requested
Perform additional administrative or order-processing tasks as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
13 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or customer service in a business-to-business environment preferred
Strong computer proficiency (ERP/SAP experience preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a team-oriented setting
Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Outlook Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
