StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Behavioral Health Psychologist for a leading national physician services organization in a SNF setting in Johnson City, TN.

Position Highlights:
  • Provide individual psychotherapy and behavioral health services to SNF residents
  • Conduct psychological assessments, cognitive screening (MoCA, MMSE), and decisional-capacity evaluations
  • Treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dementia-related behaviors, and grief
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, PMHNPs, nursing, social work, and therapy on integrated behavioral care plans
  • Document in facility EMR per Medicare Part B billing standards (CPT 90791, 90832, 90834, 90837, 9)
Qualifications:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Active state psychology license (independent practice)
  • Experience with geriatric / long-term care population strongly preferred
  • Comfort with cognitive impairment, end-of-life care, and behavioral disturbance
  • Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
