Job Description
Boeing Electromagnetic Effects (EME) is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Engineer (Entry-level or Associate) to join the team in Everett, WA. This role supports Boeing Commercial Airplanes programs from 737 to 787 and beyond, translating concepts and high-level requirements into architectures and operational specifications, validating designs through analysis, laboratory testing, and airplane testing, and working with aircraft systems from concept through certification, delivery and ongoing enhancements in service.
Position Overview
Develop requirements for systems, review hardware and software designs and interface specifications, perform system modeling and simulation, and conduct testing and validation in laboratory or airplane environments. Collaborate with other aerospace system suppliers to ensure effective system integration and customer satisfaction. Additional assignments may support the development of design practices, certification deliverables, test reports, and related documents.
Position Responsibilities
Assist in developing and documenting requirements for communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
Perform analyses to predict component performance against established requirements and conduct tests to validate design performance.
Collect data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements; support products throughout their lifecycle.
Support project management by gathering status data and contributing to sections of proposals for new business.
Provide limited direction and oversight to entry-level and developing engineers.
Work with limited supervision.
Work Authorization
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program.
Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience)
1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a laboratory test environment.
Experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification.
Experience or education with electromagnetic theory and advanced mathematics for electromagnetic analysis, design, modeling and testing.
Experience in computational analysis.

Associate (Level 2) : $85,850 – $116,150
