Master Plumber (GA Class II Unrestricted)
Job Summary
We are a commercial plumbing company supporting clients that own and manage high-rise commercial office buildings across the northside metro Atlanta area. We are seeking a Georgia-licensed Master Plumber (Class II Unrestricted) to perform expert-level troubleshooting, repairs, and small project work at multiple client sites, including Alpharetta, Dunwoody, and Buckhead. This is a field-based role requiring strong code knowledge, professionalism in occupied buildings, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair commercial plumbing systems in occupied high-rise office buildings (leaks, clogs, drainage, pressure issues).
Service domestic water distribution and drainage/vent systems; perform replacements and upgrades (fixtures, valves, piping, specialty components as applicable).
Execute small installations and modifications to meet client needs and building standards.
Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and company safety requirements.
Communicate clearly with property managers, building engineers, and tenants regarding findings, options, and timelines.
Document work performed, materials used, and job notes using company systems.
Travel between client sites in the northside metro Atlanta area (Alpharetta / Dunwoody / Buckhead and surrounding corridors).
Participate in overtime and/or on-call rotation as needed based on client requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active State of Georgia Master Plumber License Class II (Unrestricted) (must be in good standing).
Commercial plumbing experience with strong troubleshooting capability.
Experience working in occupied commercial buildings; professional, customer-service mindset.
Ability to read/interpret plans, schematics, and job documentation as needed.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass standard pre-employment screening (background/drug), as required by clients.
Preferred Qualifications
High-rise commercial office building experience (multi-tenant environments).
Experience interfacing with building engineers, facility teams, and property management companies.
Lead/working-foreman background; ability to guide apprentices/journeymen when required.
OSHA 10/30 or similar safety training.
Work Location / Travel
Field-based throughout north side metro Atlanta; frequent travel between sites in Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Buckhead, and nearby areas.
Schedule
Full-time; daytime service hours with flexibility for client needs. Overtime and/or on-call rotation may be required.
Physical Requirements (Typical)
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; work in mechanical rooms, ceilings, and confined spaces; kneel/crawl/stand for extended periods.
