Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist
Murray Company seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist. The candidate can be located in Des Moines, IA office.
The Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the public, providing professional support and comprehensive administrative assistance across departments. This role manages phone calls, visitors, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and document preparation, while also supporting project teams with contracts, bids, and tracking systems. Responsibilities include office operations such as supply inventory, mail processing, scheduling, and coordination of events and off-site meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Construction experience preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Available to work Monday through Friday during standard office hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility as needed.
