We are seeking a dedicated and skilled
CT Scan Technologist
to join a premier hospital system in the Houston area. This full-time, evening position is for an individual who is passionate about patient care and committed to upholding the highest standards of diagnostic imaging. As a key member of our direct patient care team, you will perform a variety of routine and special computed tomography (CT) procedures, working closely with physicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. This role is ideal for a professional looking to grow their career in a supportive and technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of CT procedures, including common and special exams of moderate complexity, with opportunities to advance to higher-level exams.
Work collaboratively with physicians, providing direct assistance during all diagnostic and special CT procedures.
Deliver exceptional patient care by ensuring patient comfort, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient and staff safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all procedures.
Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
This is an
entry-level position , and we encourage candidates with less than one year of experience to apply. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our organization.
Required Certifications
ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer)
ARRT-N (Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Tech)
ARRT-THR (Radiologic Technologist - Radiation Therapy)
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
Additional Certification Requirements
For candidates with
less than 1 year
of CT experience: You will be required to obtain your
ARRT (CT)
within
6 months
of your hire date.
For candidates with
1 or more years
of CT experience: You will be required to obtain your
ARRT (CT)
within
1 year
of your hire date.
