Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have prior dental front desk experience and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role requires someone who can keep up with a high patient volume, stay organized under pressure, and contribute to a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to maintain a full and productive schedule.
Greet patients and families, and handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Collect co-payments, outstanding balances, and process payments accurately.
Verify and explain dental insurance benefits and coverage.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Handle appointment reminders, follow-ups, and recall systems.
Manage correspondence, emails, and office communication.
Assist with treatment plan presentation and financial discussions when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.
Ensure compliance with office policies and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:

Prior experience working at a dental front desk (required).
Experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with dental practice management software.
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
