Role
Associate Photographers form the talent‑and‑versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Each photographer is equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and an iPad to capture virtual tours, floor plans and photography of residential homes. The role involves on‑site appointments, scanning properties with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans, and creating real‑estate marketing photography for future owners and renters. Photographers work closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and the management team, and are managed remotely by a local Photography Manager.

Responsibilities

Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.

Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture spaces in the most pleasing way.

Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researchers, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.

When not on a residential property, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure commercial real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.

Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.

Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.

Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.

Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.

Bend, stoop, squat, lift, twist, and carry as necessary.

Work outside during all seasons and work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional photography experience.

Real‑estate photography experience required; experience as a professional photographer or a degree in photography preferred.

FAA Part 107 license for drone photography obtained within 30 days of offer.

Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.

Accurate data capture and entry.

Excellent oral, written, and organizational communication skills.

Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Field experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Compensation
The position is hourly plus bonus‑eligible. Pay ranges from $49,000 to $50,000 annually, with monthly bonuses based on performance metrics.
