Role Overview
As a PR & Brand Communications Specialist, you will own the PR and communications lane across assigned accounts and internal brands, overseeing messaging, outreach, visibility opportunities, partnerships, and reporting. This role is responsible for helping brands show up more clearly, more credibly, and more strategically in the market.
You’ll work closely with the Account Manager on each account while collaborating with leadership on communication angles, timing, outreach, brand partnerships, and visibility strategy. Most day-to-day alignment will happen through the Account Manager, but the ownership of the PR and communications function sits with this role.
We’re looking for someone who understands how to make brands relevant, visible, and worth paying attention to through strong communication, smart positioning, and meaningful external relationships.
What You’ll Own
Communications Strategy & Messaging
Oversee PR and communications efforts from initial concept through execution and reporting
Draft press releases, pitches, talking points, announcements, and supporting communication materials
Help shape messaging around launches, activations, milestones, partnerships, and key brand moments
Ensure public-facing communication feels polished, relevant, and on-brand
Identify and pursue opportunities for earned media, interviews, features, local exposure, and industry visibility
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, editors, publishers, and other relevant outlets
Help elevate both clients and internal brands through stronger public visibility
Stay current on what is timely, relevant, and resonating in brand communications and media today
Partnerships & Brand Relevance
Support the development of brand-aligned partnerships and communication opportunities
Help identify collaborations, story angles, and visibility plays that can expand awareness and credibility
Connect PR efforts to larger brand growth goals rather than treating them as standalone tasks
Reporting & Ownership
Track outreach, placements, partnership opportunities, communication wins, and momentum across projects
Work with Account Managers to keep timelines, deliverables, and messaging aligned
Serve as the owner of the PR and communications lane within your assigned scope
Strong experience in PR, communications, media relations, partnerships, or brand visibility strategy
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong instincts around relevance, timing, positioning, and storytelling
Organized, polished, proactive, and capable of owning multiple moving parts
Understands what is working in media, partnerships, and brand visibility today
Comfortable working across both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution
Experience in luxury, hospitality, lifestyle, real estate, marine, or premium service industries is a plus
