X-Bow is looking for a proactive and experienced
Application Product Owner
to join our IT department. As we evolve our digital infrastructure, you will play a critical role in the implementation, optimization, and management of our ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, Dynamics) and related business applications.
Position Summary
The Application Product Owner (ERP) acts as the bridge between business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, HR) and IT implementation teams. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and driving end-to-end implementation and enhancements. You will turn complex business needs into actionable user stories and ensure the ERP system optimally supports company processes.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and rollout of ERP modules and integrated business applications.
Backlog Management:
Own and prioritize the ERP product backlog, refining business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs, conducting workshops to map current vs. future-state processes.
Change Management:
Accompany the ERP transformation by explaining new processes to end-users, promoting adoption, and creating training materials.
Vendor & Technical Liaison:
Collaborate with external vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teams to deliver enhancements and resolve production issues.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure delivered functionalities meet business needs.
Compliance & Audit Support:
Work closely with compliance teams to ensure ERP systems support regulatory requirements and audit processes, including SOX controls and quality management standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
5+ years of experience in IT Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or ERP Consulting.
Implementation Experience:
Proven track record of at least one full-cycle ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite).
Agile Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Business Acumen:
Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, or HR business processes.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
Certifications:
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM certification.
Integrated Systems Experience:
Experience with integrated systems including CRM, WMS, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), or BI tools.
Audit & Compliance Knowledge:
Familiarity with audit frameworks and compliance standards such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), AS9100 (Aerospace Quality Management), ISO standards, or other regulatory requirements. Understanding of how ERP/MES systems support audit trails, internal controls, and quality management processes.
Strong Analytical Skills:
Experience in process modeling, data mapping, and requirements documentation.
