Job Description
L3Harris is seeking a career level professional who desires to work in an environment where nothing is routine! This position will contribute to administration of the U.S. and Canada health and welfare benefit programs for both the active and retiree populations.
Essential Functions
Manage benefit plans to ensure scalability and compliance
Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards; identify and mitigate risks to benefit delivery
Collaborate with leaders, HR teams, cross‑functional teams, and external providers to align benefits and business objectives
Coordinate and administer annual benefit enrollment
Serve as point of contact for active and retiree employee escalations with responsibility for ensuring issues are resolved and root cause analysis is completed to identify systemic issues and subsequent steps for resolution
Manage administrative tasks with respect to active and retiree health/welfare benefits, including regular data audits, benefit benchmarking surveys
Assist with employee communications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
7 or more years of administering employee benefit plans, with a combination of retirement and health and welfare plans
Preferred Additional Skills
5 or more years of demonstrated successful project management experience
Ability to navigate complex issues while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Strong demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills
Expert computer skills, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organization, prioritization and customer service skills to effectively follow up on complex and detailed work activities
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $105,500‑$196,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $91,500‑$170,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company‑paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
