The
Assistant Manager, Marketing
supports the marketing team for DTG’s self‑produced Broadway productions. You’ll manage day‑to‑day tasks, coordinate marketing campaigns, and lead the collective efforts of the marketing, social and creative services teams. This role thrives in an agile, collaborative environment and requires a deep passion for the Disney brand, Broadway, and live entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Drive project with internal Creative Services team from initial request through project completion.
Develop and execute project briefs to ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined and met for all parties.
Manage vendor relationships to facilitate the production of print and promotional materials.
Manage relationship with Asana, DTG’s marketing department project management tool, and build and refine process and workflow to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Technology
Partner in implementing and refining marketing technology solutions to enhance team efficiency, data security, and campaign effectiveness.
Research and onboard new software partners, inclusive of service order negotiation and refinement.
Partner with DTG IT Team to lead technological innovation efforts, staying abreast of latest enterprise approved opportunities.
Partnerships & Promotions
Together with Director, Marketing and external agencies manage strategic sponsorship, partnership and promotional initiatives that align with brand objectives and enhance marketing reach.
Execute projects and activations.
Provide on‑site support at events, activations and performances, as needed.
Budget Management and Meeting Coordination
Working with vendors and stakeholders, establish and track project budgets.
Partner with budget stakeholders on monthly actualizing activities.
Consumer Insights and Research
Responsible for management and implementation of customer surveys.
In partnership with Director, Marketing and advertising agency develop and implement research strategies to help drive thoughtful campaigns to engage consumers and drive ticket sales.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of marketing experience.
Media planning experience (offline and online) preferred.
Solid understanding of marketing and finance principles.
Proven success working with numbers and providing recommendations based on analysis.
Curious mindset and willingness to explore new outlets to tell our varying stories.
Solution‑oriented perspective that manages change and challenge well.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Must be available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed. Flexibility required to work outside of standard business hours.
Compensation
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $76,300 to $98,600 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided, as well as a full range of medical, financial and other benefits.
